Barnet is a fast, curved, multi-lane road with a steep drop on one side, limited shoulders and merge points that arrive quickly. It is one of the few roads in the region where a learner meets sustained highway-adjacent speed with real consequences for a lane-change error, and it is worth several lessons on its own.

Heritage Mountain and the Ioco road are the grade work: long climbs, tight descending curves and residential intersections placed on slopes. Moody Centre at the bottom is ordinary low-speed town driving with angled parking, which makes a natural cooldown at the end of a lesson.
